Dr. Ihab M. Hanna graduated, with honors, in 1994 from Cairo University. Afterward, he spent three years in training and hospital residency before moving to San Francisco. He completed two years of General practice residency at the University of Illinois, as a chief resident, where he acquired additional training in the use of Dental Implants, sedation, and special care dentistry.
With over 25 years of implant dentistry experience and faculty at Hiossen’s implant education program, Dr. Hanna has extended his skills and knowledge to the community through his implant study club where he supports general dentists in advancing their education further.
Dr. Hanna is the founder of the RWC Implant Study Club and is committed to sharing dental implant education with the general dentist community.

Objectives
Criteria for selecting patients for implant treatment. Single Tooth, Partially Edentulous, Fully Edentulous. What to do on the initial visit? Main implant options available,their indications & contraindications. Case selection, Insurance codes, Financial arrangements, Checklist,Verbal Skills. Criteria for determining the types of patients and “basic” cases that are appropriate for clinicians with little or no surgical implant experience. Requirements and goals for patient education, informed consent, informed refusal and documentation. Risk management protocols, including staff training & malpractice insurance needs. Utilize different impression techniques for single & multiple restoration as well as full arch Be able to identify lab or impression inaccuracies Perform all clinical steps for a full arch supported hybrid restoration
