Dr. Ihab M. Hanna graduated, with honors, in 1994 from Cairo University. Afterward, he spent three years in training and hospital residency before moving to San Francisco. He completed two years of General practice residency at the University of Illinois, as a chief resident, where he acquired additional training in the use of Dental Implants, sedation, and special care dentistry.
With over 25 years of implant dentistry experience and faculty at Hiossen’s implant education program, Dr. Hanna has extended his skills and knowledge to the community through his implant study club where he supports general dentists in advancing their education further.
Dr. Hanna is the founder of the RWC Implant Study Club and is committed to sharing dental implant education with the general dentist community.

Jerome H. Stroumza
DDS, MS, DSc
Dr. Jerome H. Stoumza received his DDS in Paris, France with an emphasis on endodontics, periodontics, oral surgery, and radiology. After practicing and teaching in Paris, he decided to pursue further training at UCLA for Masters of Science in Oral Biology where he did research in growth factors and testing BMP(Bone Morphogenetic Protein) discovered by Professor Urist.He then attended his training at Boston University with Professor Schilder where he received his endodontic specialty and his Doctorate of Science for his research on human osteoblastic cell migration and the impact of endotoxin in the healing of lesions of endodontic origin. Since teaching at USCF, he maintains a full-time practice in San Francisco continuing to teach in this institute as well as nationally and internationally.
Dr Stroumza is the inventor of the EndoImplantology approach blending the knowledge of endodontics, bone grafting, implantody, and three-dimensional radiology and addressing the paradigm shift for managing complex endodontic cases.

The purpose of dental implants is to replace a missing tooth, not to extract a tooth that otherwise be saved by root canal therapy. Conservatively, doing an endodontic treatment on a non-restorable tooth is not advisable.
Analyzing the intrinsic and extrinsic value of a tooth through a comprehensive
approach and implementing the best of what endodontics and implantology can offer will provide function and esthetic for the ultimate health of our patients.
Since the popularization of dental implants, lecture advocating “ Endo vs. Implants “
have been popping out in major national and local meetings. Needless to say that this approach reveals a misplaced competitiveness between dental fields rather than sound decisions based on comprehensive clinical treatment planning.
