Mastering Immediate Implant Placement in the Anterior Esthetic Zone
Course Description:
This advanced clinical course equips dentists with the
knowledge and hands-on techniques required for
immediate implant placement in the anterior esthetic
region. Participants will explore evidence-based protocols
that maximize esthetic outcomes, functional stability, and
patient satisfaction.
Through didactic sessions, live demonstrations, and clinical simulations, the program emphasizes:
• Anatomic Considerations: Bone morphology, soft
tissue dynamics, and smile line implications
• Case Selection & Risk Assessment: Identifying ideal
candidates for immediate placement and loading
• Surgical Techniques: Atraumatic extractions, flapless
approaches, and precision osteotomy planning ,
premeditated implant placement with buccal shield
• Esthetic Optimization: Temporary restoration strategies
to support gingival architecture and papilla
preservation
• Material Selection: grafting materials, and provisional prosthetics
• Complication Management: Prevention and resolution of common challenges in the esthetic zone
Participants will leave with the skills to confidently
incorporate immediate anterior implants into their
practice, blending esthetic finesse with clinical excellence.

Dr. Ihab M. Hanna graduated, with honors, in 1994 from Cairo University. Afterward, he spent three years in training and hospital residency before moving to San Francisco. He completed two years of General practice residency at the University of Illinois, as a chief resident, where he acquired additional training in the use of Dental Implants, sedation, and special care dentistry.
With over 25 years of implant dentistry experience and faculty at Hiossen’s implant education program, Dr. Hanna has extended his skills and knowledge to the community through his implant study club where he supports general dentists in advancing their education further.
Dr. Hanna is the founder of the RWC Implant Study Club and is committed to sharing dental implant education with the general dentist community.
